“Yet”
12.08.2009
Recently I watched High Fidelity again, thought I would share my favorite scene. Hilarious dialogue and classic Jack Black.
I forgot to mention, I did see 500 Days of Summer, it was great and was everything I thought it would be. Great performances by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel. I will write something up to post soon.
My parcel has arrived.

Three pieces from Uniqlo Japan ordered via proxy. Also inside was a hand written note with some sort of candy or key chain, not quite sure. Out of the blue random fashion post. Preparing for fall. Just a simple flannel shirt, and two slim fit jeans in grey and khaki. Uniqlo is one my favorite stores, they are basically like the Gap of Japan, but much better style and quality. Too bad there is only one US location in NYC and hundreds of locations in JP. Soon the US site will allow online order and I wont need to have to constantly order by phone
“We are hoping you can enjoy with new fashion from japan”
“Woulds” and “Coulds”
18.07.2009
Maybe I rushed in. Maybe I went too quickly or didn’t take my time? I always believed that time should not be wasted, that I should not waste a second when trying to achieve a goal. You do not know whether that something did not work out because you were the fool that rushed in or was it because of something else entirely. I have always had a tough time getting over the “woulds” and “coulds”, now should probably be the time that I stopped.
500 Days of Summer
17.07.2009
If you are a fan of actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, his new romantic comedy 500 Days of Summer had a limited release today and will be in more theaters within a few weeks. It is not just a generic romantic comedy, although I find nothing wrong with that, this is looking to be a much more unique and interesting film of the genre. You may not hear about Joseph Gordon-Levitt often, usually because the films he is in are lesser known independents. An actor who truly cares about his craft and only works on interesting projects. As soon as I get a chance to view it in theaters or buy it, I will do a review of some sort. Definitely looking forward to this movie!
Common Dreams
17.07.2009
Just had one of those dreams last night, you know those ones where you had something, something that makes you incredibly happy and you wake up with that hybrid happy/sad feeling because you realize none of it actually happened. It could be anything, you met the love of your life or you had that new record from your favorite band, I don’t know, something you really wanted. These are not just dreams that you quickly forget, but memorable ones with people you know as the characters and places you have been as the location. They make you strive for something more or give up entirely.
Milkshakes
16.07.2009
I originally wanted to create this blog with concept of memorable scenes/moments from my favorite films and television shows, but decided it would be better to keep the blog open ended. I wanted share with you this memorable scene and poem. If you ever watched the Before Sunrise and Before Sunset movies, you probably are the type who focuses more on the character and the dialogue than the action. The movie is all dialogue between Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Celine (Julie Delpy) as they walk through the city for one night. The beautiful Julie Delpy is one my favorite actresses and also is quite the musician. Hopefully you have already seen these classic movies, if you haven’t I wont hold it against you. Anyway, my favorite scene from Before Sunrise and also an incredible piece of poetry.

Daydream delusion
Limousine Eyelash
Oh, baby with your pretty face
Drop a tear in my wineglass
Look at those big eyes
See what you mean to me
Sweet cakes and milkshakes
I am a delusion angel
I am a fantasy parade
I want you to know what I think
Don’t want you to guess anymore
You have no idea where I came from
We have no idea where we’re going
Launched in life
Like branches in the river
Flowing downstream
Caught in the current
I’ll carry you. You’ll carry me
That’s how it could be
Don’t you know me?
Don’t you know me by now?
First.
