Milkshakes
16.07.2009
I originally wanted to create this blog with concept of memorable scenes/moments from my favorite films and television shows, but decided it would be better to keep the blog open ended. I wanted share with you this memorable scene and poem. If you ever watched the Before Sunrise and Before Sunset movies, you probably are the type who focuses more on the character and the dialogue than the action. The movie is all dialogue between Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Celine (Julie Delpy) as they walk through the city for one night. The beautiful Julie Delpy is one my favorite actresses and also is quite the musician. Hopefully you have already seen these classic movies, if you haven’t I wont hold it against you. Anyway, my favorite scene from Before Sunrise and also an incredible piece of poetry.

Daydream delusion
Limousine Eyelash
Oh, baby with your pretty face
Drop a tear in my wineglass
Look at those big eyes
See what you mean to me
Sweet cakes and milkshakes
I am a delusion angel
I am a fantasy parade
I want you to know what I think
Don’t want you to guess anymore
You have no idea where I came from
We have no idea where we’re going
Launched in life
Like branches in the river
Flowing downstream
Caught in the current
I’ll carry you. You’ll carry me
That’s how it could be
Don’t you know me?
Don’t you know me by now?
Hey, Mike, this is Kyle. Dude, that’s a really good poem. I’m definitely going to check out that movie now. So there’s of them, Before Sunrise and Before Sunset? Should I see them in that order?
Anywho, check out my two blogs if you ever get the chance. I have a music one and one specifically for my writing. They’re at:

Oh, also, I’ll add this blog to my two blogs’ blogroll (lot of “blog” in that sentence) so it’ll link to you. If you would, could you make a link to mine as well?
Hey kyle glad you responding. I was feeling lonley. Yes, watch Before Sunrise first and then Before Sunset. Checking out your blogs as we speak.
